Refund Policy

Returns 

The Shops at the Empress are happy to offer an exchange on your product within 7 days of receiving the item. This does not include shipping time to you. We can not offer a refund unfortunately unless certain circumstances apply. 

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

Several types of goods are exempt from being exchanged. These items will be labeled as final sale and you will be informed of this at the checkout. 

Additional non-returnable items: 
- Gift cards
- Custom ordered items such as (made to order leather jackets, wool coats, etc.)

To complete your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. 

Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds are not normally accepted, however if a manufacturer error is present we will inspect the product and consider a refund. 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed. The original credit card will be needed so a credit can be issued.

All shipping fees and applicable duties inured during the return process are the responsibility of the client. We may give you a specific shipping code to use to help defer duties on certain items. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shopsattheempress@gmail.com.  

Shipping 

To return your product, you should first contact us so we can provide returning instructions.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

All returning items must be shipped through government post services only. Please do not use other carriers. 
 You must use a trackable shipping option. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
